White Water Rafting in Cagayan de Oro

White water rafting has three levels according to their difficulty: Extreme, Advanced and Beginner Level. Advanced level will be treated to 20 rapids, while Beginner has 12 rapids. Extreme offers a set wilder rapid. Cost of Beginners is P700 per head, P1,000 for Advanced and P2,000 for Extreme. Minimum number of persons vary from level to level. Polluted Sunrise Over the Metropolis

  Very early this morning, I roused myself from bed to go to my friend’s high-rise condominium that overlooks the city for an opportunity to shoot city skyline. I thought that the long weekend of November 1 to 4 lowered the pollution level in the metro. Therefore, a sunrise shot would probably be good. Lo and behold, this is what I saw in an early morning shoot. Shot at 6:03:53, November 05, 2012. Canon 40D, 70-200mm f/11, set at 170.0mm.

Habagat Drowns Metro Manila

The first part of August saw the tempest of nature’s wrath. Torrential rains poured unceasingly leaving 80% of Metro Manila underwater. School- and office-operations are affected as students and people cannot leave their homes. Our street is hardly flooded. But I guess we are not lucky this time. Waters rose to knee-deep.
