Some time in 1988, while cleaning a bodega, he found a treasure in a black leather bag—an old camera. This little treasure brought him far in the world of photography. From a single, antiquated camera, a fully equipped studio has emerged that serves small and big photography requirements. His obsession and unique skill in taking photographs made him a recipient of several awards. Mario’s works appeared in numerous local and international publications, and were featured in several Photo Exhibitions, including three One-Man Photo Exhibits. His works also appeared in magazines, annual reports, brochures, calendars, billboards, duratrans, catalogs, newspapers, coffee table books, posters and packaging materials.
